Our history
To The ResQ was established by experienced rescuers who are familiar with the daily challenges faced by rescue organizations. The time dedicated to fundraising, organizing events, and conducting promotions often distracts these groups from their core mission: to rescue and rehome animals in need. Having been actively involved in rescue efforts for years, it became evident that the overwhelming nature of their life-saving work can cause rescues to neglect essential operations. With numerous wonderful rescues already in operation, starting another did not seem like the most effective way to help.
Thus, To The ResQ was created with the goal of aiding rescues by concentrating on the vital operations that bolster their efforts, thereby allowing them to focus on what they excel at: saving lives!
Our mission
Our mission is to provide support to animal rescues, shelters and community-owned pets through education, services, and fundraising. Our main objective is to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats and lower euthanasia rates in shelters.
We are still a work in progress, but we launched several new programs in January 2023, and are working on other programs designed to help us with our mission to enable rescues and the community to save the lives of the homeless animals among us. Stay tuned for more updates!
